We will discover the basic elements of konnakol, this ancient peculiar south indian way to vocalyse rhytmic syllables and phrases, and how it could be useful to understand music and develop our expression. We will learn a composition, including how to write it down, then we will play it on a framedrum discussing the matters to focus (fingering, thecniques, dynamics, context) while transposing it.
