> What is the difference between a COURSE and a WORKSHOP?

By COURSE, we mean the two-day morning courses where you can engage intensively with a topic.
ALL COURSES HERE!

Good to know: By booking a course, you will receive concert tickets at a reduced price on the course days you have booked!

By WORKSHOP, we mean all afternoon offerings (duration: 2 hours). Here you will find a wide range of topics, most of which are very practical in nature. Many topics are cross-level, so you can participate as a beginner or as an advanced player.

> What means the "IMPULSES"?

IMPULSES are 35-minute presentations during the lunch break. They are free of charge and take place from Wednesday to Saturday in the E-Werk foyer. Various festival lecturers bring exciting topics or present their latest publications. The programme is announced at relatively short notice, and you will also be informed via notices at the information desk.

> Can I still book courses/workshops during the festival week?

Usually no problem, as long as there are still places available. Just drop by the information desk and we'll see what we can do!

> When and where can I find the information desk?

The information desk is located in the E-Werk foyer. From 6 April onwards, we will be available daily from 2.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. to take course bookings, accept ticket orders, and assist with payments or participation confirmations.

> I don't have my own instrument. Can I still participate?

Yes, of course! If you indicate this on the registration form, we will reserve a suitable drum for you. It will then be waiting for you in the course room.
However, especially for the medium/advanced courses, we assume that you already own a drum and will bring it with you. In exceptional cases, it is still possible to borrow a frame drum.

You will also find many great instruments at our frame drum fair (7–12 April), where you can get advice, try out drums and then decide...
