This course is aimed at anyone who already has some experience with frame drums (e.g., sitting in lap style) or has a basic knowledge of rhythm from music or dance—and wants to learn or improve their upright style (playing standing up).
We play partly sitting and partly standing, work with coordination exercises for movement and playing, and explore how rhythm flows through the whole body.
The focus is on finding freedom in the upright posture and strengthening rhythmic understanding and pulse through the connection of movement and playing.

The course is open to everyone – even those who cannot stand for long periods of time. Chairs are of course available.
