14th International Frame Drum Festival (26.07. - 04.08.2019)

Our musical highlight of the year is now behind us, but it still resonates: the 14th Tamburi Mundi Festival in Freiburg!
In a newspaper report, this year's festival was compared to a “caravanserai” – we liked that image: the caravanserai as a colorful, lively resting place and gathering spot for musicians, course participants, instrument makers, and the many concertgoers who populate Freiburg's E-Werk during the 10 days of the festival. There was drumming, singing, dancing – in the best cases even all at the same time! – eating, drinking, and it was a truly lively place for exchanging rhythms, grooves, and new playing techniques.
