21st Tamburi Mundi Festival April 02-12, 2026 in Freiburg, Germany - SIMPLICITY
Even after 21 years, the story of frame drum music and its complex world of rhythms and sounds is far from over: this year's international world percussion festival TAMBURI MUNDI offers a musically diverse, incredibly multifaceted, virtuoso program with the festival motto SIMPLICITY running like a fine thread through the program.
International frame drum artists, festival visitors from all over the world, and renowned instrument makers will be in attendance. Together with regional musicians and a great audience, festival director Murat Coskun and his team will once again make Freiburg the center for top-class percussion music and intensive learning, giving space to new developments and offering a unique platform for frame drum music and respectful cultural exchange.
