"Whether young or old. Everyone can make music and express themselves through instrument." This is Max Gerwien's workshop motto. His cajon workshop is all about expression and having fun making music together. Participants will learn the basics of cajon playing. Max, last year’s "Frame Drum Award" winner, is a passionate musician. Starting with congas at the age of 3, he has spent the last two decades exploring the various percussion instruments and has mastered a wide range of rhythm instruments. As master's student at the Popakademie Ba-Wü in Mannheim he teaches, performs and develops new projects. "I love passing on my experience and enthusiasm for rhythm and percussion instruments to young and old. And I learn something new every day!" Max |
