Content of the course:

„Frame drum is the drum of the moon, the sun and the soul. Since ancient times it has connected people to god, and nature.“ (Liron Meyuhas)

In the beginner workshops we will study how to connect to our selves through drumming, though melody and rhythm.

Also basic technique and finger work will be studied. Liron will also show rhythms from Middle East, where the drums are mainly played. But also non-typical frame drum-rhythms like rhythms from West African and South American cultures.

Level: Beginner = No precognition necessary



Please note:

    The Frame Drum Academy offers agian two days workshops with various lecturers, that can be booked additionally.  The schedule of the extra workshops is aligned to the other courses, which might be relevant for the participants of the 2, 5 or 7 days courses, in order to enable them to join these workshops after their regular course program.
