On Friday, the 2rd of August from 9.30-11 o´clock., a joint performance of all the workshop groups will take place.

We will focus on snapping as a way to extend the tonal range of a frame drum and create longer compositions utilizing fast Pa fingerings. The development of smooth transitions from one technique to another will be emphasized. Intoning the cycle while playing will be explored.

THIS YEAR AGAIN: ADDITIONAL WORKSHOPS IN THE AFTERNOON
The Frame Drum Academy offers agian two days workshops with various lecturers, that can be booked additionally. The courses take place from 15-18.00 pm or from 16.30-18.00 pm. The schedule of the extra workshops is aligned to the other courses, which might be relevant for the participants of the 2, 5 or 7 days courses, in order to enable them to join these workshops after their regular course program.
