Frame drums have a great flexibility like hardly any other percussion instrument.

On these two days the focus is on sound, groove, movement sequences and musical expression. We explore different possibilities of articulation, create different sound spaces (switching between open and closed, dark and light sound spaces, use of brush sound), switch between different playing positions.

As a result, playing positions such as upright, lapstyle and freehand position are no longer seen separately, with the help of extended playing techniques they become much more permeable.

The focus is not on specific playing styles, rather we are inspired by the musical possibilities and give more space to sound, groove and expression.
